WW - Juvenia Arithmo, slide rule calculator, manual wind, 36mm x 42mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original stainless steel snap back case with bidirectional slide rule bezel, case back engraved with the following presentation "To George With Love, Lois, 12-25-52," vintage brown leather strap, original silvered dial with radium painted indices, 17J, s#112020, triple signed. One of the earliest slide rule calculator watches, these were incredibly useful in the days before the electric calculator. Complex calculations could be done with the assistance of a completely mobile slide rule worn on the wearer's wrist.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide, light tarnish to plates that would clean up nicely with a fresh overhaul; excellent dial with light surface spotting; excellent radium hands with light oxide; unpolished case shows hardly any wear, retains all of the original factory finishing, no dents or dings; crown shows very little wear; good plastic crystal.
